Let me tell you this. The game feels alot like it does last year! This includes graphics and especially the audio of the game. Yes the game runs at 60 fps this year compared to 30 fps last year but that's it! There are some new animations such as gang tackling and such but it really doesn't stand out. The new "weapons system" is nothing more than a gimmick. This is typical EA! They spend so much time adding useless and nonsense stuff just to say that it's a new game that they don't innovate anymore. I have this game for only several hours now and I already feel like it's getting old!
To sum it up, it's nothing more than a roster upgrade with a new cover boy on the package. My advice, rent before you buy!Is Madden NFL 08 worth buying?

Yes. The game is realllllyy good. The Gameplay is way improved from the 360 version last year and the graphics and animations are just incredible. Its really just a great game
