What is better halo 3 or madden NFL 08?

i wont to buy a new game for my xbox 360 and i dont know what one to get.

i like halo 3 it sounds good. but i dont have halo 1 or 2. i like madden nfl 08 as well i have 05,06,07 on ps2

Depends on the type of games you like. Halo 3 is a first person shooter game that is terrific but you ust play one or two if you want to play it. Madden however is a sports game and is almost the same as the other Maddens. I recommned Halo 3 (if played the other ones) but if you dont know get 1 and 2 of halo for they are great games. They are fun and you can hook upthrough the internet. Madden you get bored of quickly so your choice. Reccomend Halo series.

all depends on what you like madden is better because you can play it like forever but halo has a good storyline
To me it sounds like you should really get the Madden 08 but Halo 3 kicks butt so its a really tough descision. I almost for got that u have 05-07 in Madden. So i'm not sure.What is better halo 3 or madden NFL 08?
halo 3 is good but i think gears of war was a better shooting game (3rd person though). Call of Duty 4 is better than halo 3 and is easier to master.

I'm British so my opinion of American football is that it's only good watching on TV. I went insane the number of times play stopped when playing madden.
