I can't remember the team off the top of my head, but i'm about to play the 8th ranked team for passing on my franchise mode save on Madden NFL 08. My team in the franchise is the Rams. Any tips for stopping the the pass? Such as playbook, plays, players, etc.Once again, i need advice for Madden NFL 08 for Playstation 2?
Use lots of Cover 2 blitz packages... should force some nice turnovers. Basically just mixing up the coverages on the computer is the best way to stop the pass.
Remember to hit the Pass Commit if you are struggling against the pass and getting torn up. You can do that by hitting the Right-Stick button upwards, directly after the snap. It must be directly after the snap, you will see a Red Box that says: PASS COMMIT appear.Once again, i need advice for Madden NFL 08 for Playstation 2?
just mix it up. zone and man. but when you play man bring the blitz. and sack the qb. use a linebacker and come from the outside.Once again, i need advice for Madden NFL 08 for Playstation 2?
ok well this is for madden 09 but im pretty sure its the same... get the chargers playbook... go to the 3-4 normal... then tehre will be three plays... go up to the three plays above that... and click X
that the play ii always use... its where all 3 DL rush the QB... and 3 out of teh 4 LBs blitz... then the 4 DBs and the one MLB are in man to man coverage
if you like blitzing from the left side then do a LB shift and make then spread out and do a DL shift and make them to left... your LOLB will have mave a clear shot at the QB (if there is no TE)... if you like blitzing from the right side just do that only shift the the DL right instead of left
blitz blitz blitz... dont give the QB any time to throw
