Play Calling in Madden NFL 08?

I just got Madden 08 for XBOX and was trying to play, but I can not figure out how to change the play calling options. WHen I play on superstar mode, I only have one option for play calling and I can not choose a different play if I want to. Is it just like this for superstar mode or all modes are like thisPlay Calling in Madden NFL 08?
Just Superstar mode. In a regular game mode you have total control over play calling.

It's like real life the coaches make the plays..while you play your own guy

the coach calls the play in superstar mode.
In superstar mode, you only have control of your player and nothing else, including play calling. But when your player is not in the play then you get control of the QB as normal.(Or at least that's how it used to be). You never have control over play calling in any circumstance.



When you play in the older modes, you have the normal controls over play calling.
